**Mountain View, Calif., March 8, 2023** – The Google News Initiative (GNI) today announced the launch of its Global Training Network, a comprehensive program designed to equip journalists around the world with the digital skills they need to succeed in the rapidly evolving media landscape.
The network will provide training in a variety of areas, including data journalism, digital storytelling, audience engagement, and online safety. It will be delivered through a combination of online courses, workshops, and in-person events.
