**Caleres Appoints First-Ever Design Chief**
**New York, March 16, 2023** – Caleres, Inc. (NYSE: CAL), a global footwear company, today announced the appointment of Rachel Shechtman as its first-ever Chief Design Officer, effective April 3, 2023. In this newly created role, Shechtman will lead the creative vision and direction for all Caleres brands, including Famous Footwear, Sam Edelman, Naturalizer, and Allen Edmonds. She will be based in New York City and report to Diane Sullivan, CEO, Caleres.
