Primark Strengthens Management Team in North America and Ireland

Primark, the Irish fast-fashion retailer, has announced two key appointments to its management team in North America and Ireland.

In North America, Primark has named Anu Bidani as vice president of its US business, a newly created role. Bidani will be responsible for overseeing the company’s expansion in the US, where it currently operates 13 stores and plans to open 10 more by the end of the year. Prior to joining Primark, Bidani held leadership positions at Kohl’s, Target, and Macy’s.

In Ireland, Primark has promoted Damien O’Neill to head of Penneys, the company’s Irish brand name. O’Neill has been with Primark for over 20 years, most recently serving as commercial director for the UK and Ireland. In his new role, O’Neill will be responsible for all aspects of Penneys’ business in Ireland, including store operations, merchandising, and marketing. **Focus on Expansion** These appointments come at a time when Primark is focused on expanding its global footprint. The company recently opened its first stores in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and it plans to enter new markets in the coming years. In North America, Primark is targeting major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago for expansion. **Customer-Centric Approach** Primark’s success is attributed to its customer-centric approach, offering affordable, on-trend fashion to value-conscious consumers. The company’s expansion plans demonstrate its commitment to meeting the growing demand for its products worldwide. With the appointment of Bidani and O’Neill, Primark is well-positioned to continue its growth and deliver exceptional value to its customers in North America and Ireland..
