Banana Republic Expands California Footprint with Two Los Angeles Stores, Including Homewares Flagship

Following the debut of its first-ever homewares store in San Francisco last year, Banana Republic is continuing to invest in the home category with the opening of a dedicated homewares store in the coveted West Hollywood Design District..

The 2,400-square-foot homewares store is situated at 8479 Melrose Avenue and neighbors brands including Anthropologie, Kelly Wearstler and Artemest. The boutique-like space features a curated assortment of furniture, décor pieces, tabletop items and textiles as well as an exclusive collaboration with L.A.-based ceramicist and designer Eric Roinestad, who created a 45-piece collection including vases, serving bowls and plates..

In addition to its homewares expansion, Banana Republic also revealed two new retail locations: a 3,100-square-foot store at The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles and a 3,300-square-foot store at Westfield Valley Fair in San Jose..

The Grove store is the brand’s second location at the outdoor mall and sits across from its existing 8,500-square-foot store. The new store offers elevated design elements and an enhanced shopping experience that aligns with the retailer’s ongoing brand transformation..

The Westfield Valley Fair store is Banana Republic’s largest location in the Bay Area. It features an expanded assortment of women’s and men’s apparel, accessories and shoes, as well as the brand’s latest store concept, which includes digital touchpoints and new styling services..

The openings of the three new stores mark Banana Republic’s continued investment in California, which is one of the brand’s largest markets. The retailer currently operates over 40 locations in the state, including stores in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Beverly Hills and San Diego..
